Storm Damaged Trees Crystal Cove
After a major storm, it’s difficult for communities to cope. Buildings may be damaged or destroyed, power lines down, and trees broken and torn. In the wake of this loss, neighborhoods and entire cities may experience a sense of deep devastation that is hard to describe. If the tree isn’t deteriorating or posing a hazard, as long as it didn’t sustain major storm damage, the best option may be to do nothing and see how the tree recovers on its own.
We’ve seen many examples of trees that have suffered severe storm damage, yet the situation may not end up being as bad as it looks at first glance. The fact is that trees are amazingly resilient! Because of their resiliency, most trees are likely to recover with proper care and time. When comparing a storm-damaged tree to the way it looked previously, it can be difficult to sit still and be patient as the tree recovers. The best advice is to keep storm-damaged trees in place.
That said, the most important consideration in whether to remove a storm-damaged tree is to assess the immediate risk of the tree, branches, or limbs falling and causing physical or property damage. Beach Tree Services can come out and take a look at the damage and identify any immediate dangers, as well as monitor the tree for any signs of weakness or permanent damage.
Safety is always our main concern!
Always keep your distance from any downed power lines or lines where trees or branches may be making contact with wires. Also, stay away from broken branches and limbs that may be at risk of falling. You can report downed utility lines to utility companies or 911 operators.
After any major storms, Beach Tree Service is busy working to eliminate immediate hazards to life and property. After that, we focus on the removal of downed branches and debris from the storm, including removing entire trees when necessary.
